A Fans First Experience

The Savannah Bananas and United Community align in many ways, but one of the primary ways is by placing the experience of the customer (or fan) first.

The Savannah Bananas are a sensation that’s amassed a ticket waitlist of more than 2 million worldwide. Fans are treated to an experience unlike any other in sports. From their VIB (Very Important Bananas) program with exclusive access to team warm-ups to team characters like mascot Split and the Banana Nanas dance team, the whole organization works to ensure an unforgettable fan experience playing their own brand of baseball known as Banana Ball.

Similarly, at United we consider the customer experience first and foremost. We work to understand each customer’s unique financial needs to help reach their goals.

“Customer experience is paramount when it comes to what the Savannah Bananas are putting out there. I need my team [at United] to be in lockstep with me everywhere we go,” Dr. Tim Naddy, PhD., CPA, Director of Finance for the Savannah Bananas says. “The advice is sound, it’s trustworthy, and they care for me—I truly feel that.”

The Bananas have experienced tremendous growth in recent years. That rapid growth has required their banking operations to scale accordingly.

“With all of the decisions that have been made between the two of us, we’ve been able to make this place better,” Naddy explains. “My cash management, my merchant services, my deposits, my sweep accounts—everything that’s entailed in the financial health of this organization—is being taken care of by professionals who I know and trust.”
